The starting point was the collection itself. A set of statement earrings carefully crafted as wire sculptures, resembling Calder’s mobiles from the 60’s. For this shooting I envisioned an urban setting with abandoned construction sites and vintage geometrical facades as backgrounds.
A replica of Calder’s Amédée Ozenfant wire portrait and a set of calderesque organic shaped mirrors were made to measure as main props. The result is a photographic campaign that explores natural lighting over geometric reflections and linear sculptures, or as the artist called them ‘drawings in space’.
